Welcome to Intermarché Café, a convenient yet delightful spot nestled at Avenida Dom Sebastião 129, 8600-502 Lagos, Portugal. This café is perfect for those on the go, especially if you're popping in to shop at the adjacent Intermarché supermarket.

As you step inside, the atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it an ideal place to grab a quick bite or enjoy a refreshing drink before heading out to explore the beautiful surroundings of Lagos. While it is more of a café than a full-service restaurant, it offers a selection of snacks and ready-made meals that are perfect for a leisurely afternoon. Imagine enjoying a warm, aromatic cup of coffee alongside a fresh, flakey pastry, as the sweet smells waft through the air.

Customers have varied experiences at Intermarché Café, with some like Graham Miller finding it a convenient pit stop, while others have noted some areas for improvement. Millennial Strategist expressed that the food can be average, particularly mentioning the speedy depletion of their more enticing sandwich options. However, R. Nitsche countered this sentiment, delighting in their delicious cakes and reasonably priced offerings, reinforcing that the café can serve as a cozy retreat for those with a sweet tooth.

Fam Sanders particularly emphasized the value offered at this café with incredibly low prices for coffee, sandwiches, and sweets—making it a budget-friendly choice for both locals and travelers alike. Jacques Behar recommended it as a great takeaway option before heading to the beach, highlighting the ease of parking and the convenience of getting a warm Americano on the go.

If you're in the mood for a relaxed atmosphere to sip on a coffee priced as low as €0.75 or to indulge in a slice of homemade cake, Intermarché Café stands out as a reliable option where friendliness meets affordability. Just keep in mind that its staff multitasks, so a little patience might be required while they juggle restocking and serving. Whether you’re wrapping up your grocery shopping or just want a quick treat, this café offers a little something for everyone.

Food is average, they run out of the good sandwiches/baguettes quickly. On my last day I saw a fly go into one of the shelves of food which put me off the cakes. Service can be slow as the staff are also restocking, tidying up and as well as serving customers.

Haben hier angehalten um einzukaufen. Im Café wollten wir kurz einen Galao trinken. Dabei haben wir leckeren Kuchen gesehen und konnten nicht wiederstehen. Der war sehr lecker und die Preise sind absolut okay.
